Famous since Charles II found refuge here, this 17th century house has half timbered rooms, oak panelling, fine furniture and ingenious hiding places. The garden has been recreated in 17th century style with a formal knot garden, and has varieties of herbs and plants.

Open: Mid March - end October, Wed, Sat & Sun 12.00 - 5.00pm. Bank Holiday Mon 11.00am - 5.00pm and following Tues 12.00 - 5.00pm (except May). November - 16th December, Sun only 12.00 - 4.00pm
