Boscobel House is a modest, but beautiful timber framed house famous for sheltering Charles 11 after defeat at Worcester. The house has been fully refurbished and has a hunting lodge, dairy, farmyard, smithy and gardens.
Guided tours are available when you will hear tales of the 'Priest Holes' and the 'Royal Oak' in which Charles 11 evaded capture.

Open:
24 Mar - 31 May Mon, Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun 10am to 5pm

1 June - 31 Aug Daily 10am to 6pm
1 Sept - 31 Oct Thur - Mon 10am to 5pm
