Boscobel House is
a modest, but beautiful timber framed house famous for sheltering
Charles 11 after defeat at Worcester. The house has been fully refurbished
and has a hunting lodge, dairy, farmyard, smithy and gardens.
Guided tours are available when you will hear tales of the 'Priest
Holes' and the 'Royal Oak' in which Charles 11 evaded capture.
