This park is currently a priority for refurbishment, but continues to provide an attractive venue for gentle recreation, however facilities for the more active members of the community are currently being developed.

The park has a football pitch and a children's play area which is due for refurbishment soon. The new gate has been designed to represent the bow of a Viking longboat, a reference to Wednesfield's past association with the Vikings.
